Ms Ratnam believes that allowing gambling addicts to gamble is exploitation of the vulnerable, but allowing drug addicts to inject any substance in a drug injecting room is acceptable, as long as Daniel Andrews’ Labor Party approves.
If Ms Ratnam claim that vulnerable people deserve protection stands true then we must protect vulnerable drug addicts who have been tossed into a scrap heap by the left’s permissive drugs policy.
It is clear that the Andrews’ Labor Government and the Greens are out of touch with the needs of everyday Victorians. No matter the addiction, all Victorians should be afforded the same protections and treatments.
Comments attributable to South Eastern Metropolitan MP, Inga Peulich:
“It is clear that the Andrews’ Labor Government and the Greens are only committed pushing their hypocritical agenda, and not to treating Victorians who suffer from addiction.”
“Addiction is not a tool for Ms Ratnam and her Green buddies to selectively exploit for political gain, but a serious problem that needs our government’s full attention.”
“Ms Ratnam calls gambling practices “reckless exploitation of vulnerable people experiencing addiction,” but turns a blind eye to injecting rooms that victimise drug addicts.”
