The rise comes on the back of an alarming 39.2% jump in drug dealing, a 30.6% rise in drug use, and 24.5% leap in robbery.
Despite Victoria's population growing by 100,000 people each year, the Andrews Labor Government went to the election without promising any extra police, and none have been included in the State Budget or four year forward estimates. Denis Napthine promised 750 extra police if the Coalition was returned.
