However, despite Victoria's population growing by 100,000 people each year, the Andrews Labor Government went to the election without promising any extra police, and none have been included in the State Budget or four year forward estimates. The former Coalition Government promised 750 extra police if they were returned.
Ms Peulich said that without extra police coming on board, the improvement would be short-lived.
