The rise comes on the back of an alarming 38.83% jump in theft and a 26.92% rise in robbery.
Despite Victoria’s population growing by 100,000 people each year, the Andrews Labor Government went to the election without promising any extra police, and none have been included in the State Budget or four year forward estimates.
Denis Napthine promised 750 extra police if the Coalition was returned.
