“Shopping precincts throughout the Melbourne's Southeast are the heart of our local communities.”
“With nearly a quarter of the shops vacant, some of the local shopping strips are in desperate need of a makeover to revitalise our great local precincts.”
“Under the previous Victorian Coalition Government, over 40 councils and 18 business and trader associations secured a total of around $10 million to help revitalise local shopping precincts throughout Victoria.”
“Local strip traders have demonstrated they want to build shopping precincts for the long run with fantastic initiatives like Healthy Heart Week.”
“The Streetlife and OurStreet programs help our small businesses to grow and give residents incentive to shop local, and it is essential that Daniel Andrews act now to save the funding for these important community programs.”
