Casey Cardinia Library Corporation will now face a significant funding shortfall because the State Government has failed to deliver $18,500 in anticipated funding.
The State Government is delivering an average increase of 2.5 per cent in funding to Victorian libraries, but the Casey Cardinia Library Corporation has only received 2.38 per cent.
Ms Peulich has called on the Minister for Local Government, the Hon. Natalie Hutchins to investigate the funding allocation and deliver Victoria’s third fastest growing municipality the full 2.5 per cent.
Quotes attributed to Inga Peulich MLC, Member for South Eastern Metropolitan Region:
“The Minister for Local Government Natalie Hutchins and the Andrews Labor Government must act to address the funding shortfall that is being faced by the Casey Cardinia Library Corporation.”
